Vision Express

Used this place once and was very disappointed. I chose Vision Express purely because they prominently advertise a 1 Hour Service, but I was not told until after I had my eyes tested, chosen a pair of glasses and paid for them that there was no lab technician to make my lenses and so they wouldn’t be ready in an hour. I was assured they would get the order filled at the Buchanan Galleries store and that they should be ready within 2 days. A week later my glasses finally turned up only to find they hadn’t been fitted to me and were way too small. I was able to exchange them for another pair and was assured these would not be sent off to some central place like the last pair and would be made at the Buchanan Galleries. A whole two weeks later the glasses finally turned up, having been once again sent to some centralised lens making place.
It’s of course understandable if they are down a member of staff, however as I have experienced in other Vision Express stores they seem to have problems being upfront with the whole truth. I wouldn’t recommend Vision Express to anyone.
