I walked through the door and I swear to god, everyone stopped dead in their tracks. It’s like they never saw anyone under 45 before!
What can I say about this place? It looks exactly how you imagine it, old man pub to the core. But I accept that it’s not for me, so that’s why I can’t be too hard on it.
Décor is old fashioned but comfortable, aged but not worn. Staff were very friendly and kept the drinks coming. Not a bad place for a sit down if you’re in the area.

Yes, indeed. I need to second Stuart’s review. This place can definitely have something of a local feel to it. This means it’s nice and comfortable, if a little old fashioned with reasonably priced drinks and no queues at the bar or toilets.
However, it can be easy to feel a little awkward and out of place. Especially if you happen to be a couple of girls in your early 20’s popping in for a cheeky drink after visiting relatives out here or similar such tasks.
