Cracking wee booths with tvs, some good promos and a good pint. Would recommend

The Inn is a cosy and stylish pub perfect for family lunches during the day and a few drinks at night. Based right beside Bearsden Train Station, it is the perfect place to stop for a cup of tea while waiting on a train to Glasgow. I prefer The Inn to Bearsden’s other similar pub, 55BC, as it has a more laid back and comfortable atmosphere. The upstairs room in The Inn is also available for free function hire.

For me, the shining light of the Bearsden social scene, the Inn is considerably more interesting than its rather unadventurous name might suggest. Despite cutting a fairly traditional figure within the main building of Bearsden train station, the inside is stylishly decorated and far more spacious than the exterior would have you assume. Indeed there is even a floor upstairs which can be hired out for social functions. With a menu which is a cut(and a few pennies) above average pub grub, it’s also a good spot to enjoy a meal, while commuters can be seen at various points in the day slurping coffees and munching cakes as they await their train. If only all stations could offer you a comfy leather chair to slump in However while the convenience of having a bar within a train station is an undoubted appeal of this place, it’s certainly not the only selling point. The Inn is a good, well run pub in its own right and would still stand out in some of the more mainstream locations in the city.

This is quite an average pub next to Bearsden station. It has quite a large menu, but in my experience the food hasn’t been that great. It is really handy if you are waiting on a train and want to pop in for a quick drink, and actually it’s not out of the way, so quite easy to walk to from the surrounding residential area so you could leave the car at home. The décor is really nice, with lovely clean modern toilets and nice tables and sofas and lamps, but when I have been in the clientele have always been a bit peculiar. There isn’t a particular group who frequent this place, it seems to be allsorts(thats not to say unsavouries, just loads of ages and types of people). And they all seem to eyeball each other and everyone else weird. But apart from that I would go back because it’s convenient and ok value.
