Star For A Day

Took my daughter and 9 of her friends to Star for a Day for her birthday party. First session was cancelled due to a power cut (no fault of Star for a Day) and then they were so busy I was told they couldn’t give us a weekend till after Christmas. Eventually got a mid week date for 4 weeks later. Great for them to be so busy, not so great for a group of 9 year olds who would rather not have rushed about after school midweek. We arrived a bit early but were able to wait inside. Had to wait a while as they were running late which was ok except for 10 hyper kids. Party started and although it was supposed to last for 1hr 45 mins, it probably only took about 30 mins in total for the photo shoot and recording. If I’d know this I’d have arranged some party games for the kids to play as they were left in a disco room with just me and music and they were all totally hyper. I had brought food for the kids and SFAD provided juice and crisps /​sweets which went down well. All in all a good evening and the kids enjoyed themselves. As I got a deal on groupon it was worth the money but wouldn’t pay full price unless they can get their timings sorted out and provide something more than just music for the spare 1hr 15mins.

Honestly never been to a better or more professional recording studio and I’ve been to a few having 4 kids. First used star for a day a couple of years ago when they were in the city centre. Party for my daughter and her friends. AMAZING! !!! Kept in touch with them through fb and they asked for photos and a review which I was more than happy to provide. I then got offered a free recording for my daughter as a thanks. OMG new studio stunning, couldn’t do enough for us. gave extra Cds and a Dvd. all free!!! Forget any not so positive reviews, this company is FAB FAB FAB. I mean not exactly their fault there was a fire or a card reader fault. Book them now!!! Thank you for everything Sophia had a blast.
