Shop Smart on Renfield Street is an unassuming newsagent that you could walk past every day for a month and not even notice. In fact, you probably already have.
It’s quite limited in size, but this hasn’t stopped them from squeezing in large quantities of magazines, newspapers, sweets, snacks and drinks. They also have a large selection of cigarettes and scratch-​cards if you’re into that sort of thing.
And so yes, Shop Smart isn’t exactly bursting at the seams with useful and must-​have items — but it is an average newsagent with average newsagent products. It’s very well placed to serve the large numbers of offices that populate that area of town, and the staff are perfectly friendly.
Worth a visit to pick up your afternoon snack and a magazine.
