Second Nature

This is a nice local beautician’s, or if you prefer beauty salon, that I find quite pleasing. The name itself — Second Nature — is endearing and gives the impression of enhancing nature rather than plastering makeup and mountains of products over ‘nature’ to hide it.
Maybe I’m reading a little too much into the name, but still it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. This also means a nice, welcoming and definitely non-​scary or intimidating impression (which some of these places can give me).
Moreover, the décor both inside and out is nice, simple but inviting, stylish and pleasant. This is furthered by polite, friendly staff who take their time to deliver quality service and treatments.
This service, and these treatments, are slightly more expensive than my usual Beauty World further along Clarkston Road. However, every once and a while it’s nice to visit this place for a change. Plus, it is much handier when making my way straight from work.
Good stuff all round.
