Newsagents near train stations almost unanimously lean towards the more expensive side of things. You know the kind; 60p rather than 40p for a bag of crisps, 65p for a can rather than 50p. And so on. Meanwhile, RS McColls unanimously(no almost this time) rip you off to a quite astounding level. Thus an RS McColl near a train station = daylight robbery. Avoid at all costs.

Convenience often means you end up in here, but the ridiculous pricing strategy of RS Mccoll, which seems to be take the rrp, then double it, means I very much struggle to recommend it, and if there’s any other newsagent about, head straight there as they’ll have a better, cheaper selection. They even only sell the big«grab bags» of crisps so they can get away with charging you 80p for it. Shits.
