I have a love for certain Polish foods. Mainly pickles(polski ogorki) and sausages. Don’t ask me why but the Poles have spent much of their national GDP on producing the best of these two food items. Unfortunately, it difficult to find a Polish deli that maintains reasonable food storage conditions in Scotland. There have been some terrible ones in Glasgow over the years. Slimy meat is not good anyone. Polish Daisy are a great chain that deliver a decent product at a good price and they are well respected in the Polish community. This all means that the stock has a decent turnover and will not be sitting in a hot store for weeks before you pick it up. Lots of other stuff here, if you are into wacky sweets or soups in bottles. I mainly come here for the dills and śląska(with an occasional kabanos). I should probably pick up some chleb as well(rye bread). Great stuff
