There really isn’t much to fault the Park Bar on. It serves a great range of beers, spirits and has a great menu with the food being of great quality. It frequently hosts live music leaning to the Scottish persuasion. With friendly staff and great service it is a lovely bar to visit with friends for a good night out.

Love it here: A nice bar to come in at any time, and nothing short of brilliant when they have live musicians in. Sorry this review isn’t very specific, but Park Bar is very simply a great bar, with a good atmosphere, great staff, great music(good tunes playing even when it’s not live too) and beer. Can’t ask for much more!

Let me just say that any local bar that has an American flag hanging in among the Scottish Flags is a favourite bar of mine. My boyfriend were out and about in Finneston when we decided to stop in a few bars for a few drinks. Park Bar was one of them. We walked in to a half full bar with loads of people standing at the bar watching a Rugby match that was on. We were able to nab a wee cheeky table near the front windows and sat down for a drink. Ordered our usual ciders and quite enjoyed them in the company of some locals and some people that we’ve seen out and about in city centre. I swear, this city gets smaller and smaller as each day passes. I had a wee look at their menu, and for the items on it, it was not bad at all! In fact, I might suggest it as a lunch destination with friends soon, the prices were right and the selection was great. The bar itself is cozy and friendly. The staff seemed to love what they were doing and I quite enjoy that about wee pubs. Everyone is made to feel at home. We only stayed for one drink as the bar was starting to get packed with people waiting for another match to start, so we made our way down the road for the next drink. I will be back for sure!

Found this gem around the corner from where we were staying. Great pub and brilliant music the night we were there! Good times! The next time ever are over there, definitely a must!

I love going here. End of. It’s a firm May Family favourite for Sunday(or any day) lunches, due to the excellent 2 meals + a bottle of wine for c. £20(inc. steak and mixed grill). Also, you can buy homemade tablet with your drink for £1 and it’s so good I have to send it to my friends who don’t stay in Glasgow. Bar staff are always friendly, and our family consider Nina & Winnie(the two sisters who run the show) family friends. Live music on Thursday through to Sunday, and includes acts who are playing at Celtic Connections, and sometimes you’ll see Malcolm from Runrig popping in for a tune and a pint: P I might sound like I’m bigging this up a lot, but genuinely I love coming here. No, Nina and Winnie have not paid me for this review, it’s just that great at the Park Bar: P

I really look forward when on a night out we al head out to the park bar, this place always has a good vibe about it with great music, drinks, food and the friendly people. This pub attracts a mixed age group form 18 — 40. Quick bar service and fresh smelling toilets not like an old mans pub. I don’t know where the other reviewer Katie got their facts from as she must have got this place mixed up with some other bar. The food is fresh, and a sort of home cooked feel to it.

Great place, always great fun. I tend to only go here on a Saturday night and it’s always packed. I’ve never left sober…

I’ve been to this wee pub about four times now, the last just Sunday there. Each time has been a very enjoyable visit. Now, I’ve been to pubs up north and they’ve had good Scottish atmospheres, but, this place is actually better. It’s probably because it’s got welcoming Glasgow punters in it. Yes, there are quite a few regulars around the bar, but, most of the customers are between twenty-five and forty. The entertainment came on at 9.30 pm and consisted of a husband and wife act called Eriskay Lilt. The husband played the accordion and the wife played the tambourine and sang. They played lots of instrumental medleys of Scottish folk music and also sang lots of well known classics. There was a plethora of bar staff and never a wait for a drink. The place just feels good to be in if you are Scottish.(and even if you’re not but still like Scottish things). I’d recommend it to everyone wanting a nice night out.

Great pub at weekends with live scottish bands. I usually hate Scottish music(and I’m Scottish!) but the music really gets peoples feet tapping. Impromptu dancing! All ages go here. Try it and have a good night out! Don’t know why it says it’s in ‘East End Development Park’ as it’s in the West End!!!

Without adding an awful lot of new info about this great wee place, i thought it was about time to whack up another«yur pure great Park Bar, i hink yur cool by the way» to keep old Parkie fresh on Unilocal. OK, so whats not to like. Cheap beer, good range of whiskys, cheap food and down to earth patrons from all walks o life. Come for the football, music or just for a laugh… you will not be disappointed!

I’m not going to lie — the Park Bar is a bit of an old man’s pub. It’s covered from floor to ceiling with tartan, and the walls are decorated with bagpipes, maps of Scottish islands, and probably any other Scottish themed items that you can think of. Unlike most old man pubs, though, the Park Bar is actually really welcoming to those of us who aren’t over 65. We went along for a bit of food one night — and were treated to really good friendly service. We were the only people in the place, though, aside from a couple of regulars who were propping up the bar. The food at the Park Bar is your typical microwaved pub food, but it was quite nice. They have quite a varied menu — and really, can you ever go wrong with lasagne?! In conclusion — the Park Bar has a great atmosphere(enhanced by the tartan I feel), friendly staff, quick service and decent food at even decent-er prices.

In what is known as the highland triangle, if you fancy seeing a piece of Glasgow come to the park bar. With a friendly amosphere and plenty of drink this venue offers a proper taste of glasgow with many regulars. They also offer great home made scottish food.
