Original Levi Store

I take it allllll back! As a girl with a «generously proportioned bottom» I have always struggled to find jeans that fit. When I heard about the Levis ID Curve range I had to take a look!
This range is fan-​bloody-​tastic and was much needed from Levis as their women’s section was lagging behind the men’s. The jeans I bought were £85 (they give a 20% student discount if you’re currently a tax dodger!) but the price is worth it. They fit like a glove and are washing brilliantly. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.
One issue though… they wouldn’t refund something that I had bought on the website. this is really dated nowadays as all high street stores offer this. If it wasn’t for that I’d put this up to 5 stars!

Yes this place is great. Yes i agree with the previous reviews that the guys gear is just that bit better than the gals. Yes Levi is still one of the most recognisable and sought after brands of clothes. But… and here be the kicker… Jeeeeezz is it bloody pricey!
Now i know how the old saying goes «you only get what you pay for» and in the main i tend to agree with it. However, fookin hell guys, i don’t need to pay £70 for a pair of jeans to get something that covers my arse and wont fall apart when i get stuck in a light shower!!!
With so much competition from nearby stores, Levi is trading and trying to trick people into buying there gear on the name alone. Yes i still wander by and think «oh, me want cowboy shirt» but hell if i’m paying 50 notes for a shirt i can pick up used on ebay for 20 max.
This place would double its business if it halved it prices.

Whenever I think of Levi I alway think of that advert that used to be on TV with the Spaceman song. Hilarious!
Although I’ve never bought a pair of jeans from here as I’m too small and usually need to buy jeans for 12 years olds. I think Levi is great for guys jeans, the last time I was here was with G-​Bot and he bought a nice pair of jeans and they were pretty reasonably priced. The jeans here aren’t fussy, they don’t have ridiculous logos or unnecessary rips and zips. They are just traditional good old fashioned jeans and are great quality too.

Honestly, I don’t really get the appeal of this store. I’m not sure anyone else does either, as it always seems to be empty.
I understand the hype that surrounds Levi’s jeans in general (which, let’s be honest, is a product of successful branding and advertising more than that of great jeans manufacturing). However, the shop itself doesn’t carry that legacy well. I stopped going in here quite recently because whenever I did I felt a bit like I was being watched. The staff come off as snobby and don’t seem happy to help — just irritated that you’ve moved something by half an inch and now they have to straighten it up. Scandal.
Their selection is pretty limited. Aside from the jeans, they have some tops and a few accessories, but none of it is very fresh or exciting. It certainly isn’t nice enough to justify the exorbitant pricing, something that I can’t seem to grasp no matter how hard I try.
The men’s section is infinitely better than the women’s, but I still don’t find it to be worth the money or decades of hype.
Sorry, Levi’s. You just don’t do it for me.
