Office

I like Office. It is a wall to wall shoe Mecca, selling all the trendy brands and its own reasonably priced selection for both men and women. It’s great for Converse and seems to have the most diverse stock of the shoe in town, including designs that are exclusive to the store.
I usually make a point of swinging by this branch when I’m doing the rounds in town. One thing that I would say, that I can’t believe will sound negative — the customer service in here is a bit batty. The staff are really nice and very cool, but I get the impression their manager has been asked by another manager to up the customer service by 100 decibels. The result is that the customer is asked every two minutes by a new memeber of staff if they need assistance.
While I love that they are on the ball, it makes me feel a bit awkward that I can’t just browse and pick up a shoe without being interrogated every two seconds. I’ve left this store a few times feeling like there was a great expectation to buy everything I was picking up, which isn’t great if you just fancy a look. The staff are bubbly which beats being sullen any day of the week, but you can’t turn a corner without getting some help, so it’s a bit of an overkill. But having worked in retail long enough I’d hazard a guess and say this was a Sales tactic deployed by management, so just enjoy the attention!

For what the shoes are, it is quite over-​priced and over hyped. There are always a couple of nice pairs in the window, usually some shiny new platforms, but inside, the selection is quite blah. It is probably better for guys trainers, as they stock quite a vast and stylish selection, but, like the women’s section, it is so expensive.
Good when the sale is on, but other than that, I would probably give it a miss.

I adore shoes, but Office doesn’t excite me as much as it should. I find the shoes quite bland, predictable and very overpriced. Rather than looking elegant I find that many of the shoes look rather clumpy. I used to come to Office quite a lot but now that I think about it in recent years I haven’t found much that I like and most of the shoes I do have from here I rarely wear anymore.
I’m always moaning about my feet being too small and here it goes again… Office shoes are slightly too broad for my narrow feet so I have to buy about two pairs of insoles to make them fit adding an extra £15 onto the shoes. Tssk.
Personally, I think Office is better for guys shoes they have really cool trainers that are a little bit different and they are always changing their stock. Worth a look.

It’s difficult to pass by this place without lingering for a look in the window at their latest offerings. Office has a massive selection of on trend shoes and boots to suit everyone, from fans of old school Adidas trainers, to ladies looking for some pretty dancing shoes.
Office seems to be at the forefront of stylish footwear, that is often very pricey, however very much worth it for the good quality brands on offer. The unfortunate thing is that they don’t offer refunds, so it’s worth making sure that they’re a comfortable fit before purchasing.

I frequently take a look in here if I’m after new trainers, as they have a fairly huge range of non-​neddy options, and if there’s a sale on then a good bargain is a distinct possibility. I once managed to grab a pair for £8, which admittedly fell apart fairly quickly, but did look much better than their price tag might suggest.
Only problem though is the somewhat blurry lines between the male and female trainer sections, which overlap to the extent I’m never sure which is which. A quick look at the sizes on display should help you out though.

I have to admit, shoe-​shopping is like my second-​to-​least favourite thing to do, but while persevering i like to pop in to Office once in awhile. For a small store it has a good selection, and good separation of men’s and women’s for the hectic who like to get in and out, or send their boyfriend off for his own without losing him!
The stock seems to change quite quickly, so it’s not the best place to try something on and then decide to come back after your next payday. Prices can be high, but it tends to be good quality shoemanship and their pumps and flats and sandshoes are very reasonably priced indeed.
They also have a huge selection of decorated Converse, which you’d be hard pushed to find elsewhere.

Office stock shoes. Lots and lots of shoes.
Shoes that will make your feet happy, and shoes that will make grown men weep. Shoes for those who like something unusual and shoes for those who like something generic.
They have shoes that can make you taller than tall, and boots that will keep your feet nice and snuggly warm. They’ve got it all.
They literally have shoes for everyone, but, warning, they come at a price. worth it though…

My god this shop gets busy. So much so you’ll probably want to leave as soon as you enter. But then again, there is something about buying new shoes that can provide extra will power…
While this shop can get hectic, for every second customer they have a cheery, usually pretty, shop assistant eager to help. I’ve genuinely been very impressed with the service whenever I’ve been in this store, even on a busy weekend. The shoes and boots in Office aren’t cheap but in my view they’re reasonable because they’re always of good quality and bang on trend.

I am a bit of a shoe addict, so whenever a trip shopping to Glasgow comes around this store is a must visit for me. along with a select few. This is a fairly big store and it’s almost certain to be pretty busy whenever you visit it. They have a huge selection of shoes, whether your looking for something kitsch and different or even just a casual pair of trainers you will definitely see something in here that catches your eye. Staff are very friendly and helpful, trying to get whatever shoe they can for you as quickly as possible. Overall a great store that I love to visit.

If you are in need of a pair of shoes but dont want to drag yourself around the whole of glasgow then there is one store where you’ll find your shoes and that would be office. Quirky, sensible, killer heels, flats, sandals, courts — a gorgeous variety of men and womens shoes and the staff are extremely helpful when in need of an extra voice when tyring to decide which pair is best.
