Millets is a great shop that sell’s everything that you will ever need for that adventure. They do have great walking shoes ideal for walking the uneven pavements of Glasgow. They also give 10% student discount, l sometimes ask for a discount and they give it to me anyway for the cheek of asking.

So Millets is an outdoor camping shop, with good brands and an ok everything else. So it pretty much places itself in the middle of the market so don’t expect to be overly impressed with deals as there aren’t that many, and when there are they are a bit poor most of the time.
Prices usually are ordinary, and with mega stores opening that too do not specialise in anything in particular which leaves them at a loss.
Having said all this, they are the good old reliable of outdoor shops that will hopefully always be there.

Picked up some good camping gear in here, was delighted with it actually.
I’m somewhere between a non-​camper and an experienced amateur (it’s a complicated continuum) and have recently elevated from buying «anything in Argos» to proper camping stuff which is how I ended up in here.
Considerably cheaper than the likes of Tiso, this is a good place for outdoor gear with recognisable brands.
There’s always a good selection of stock and the staff are helpful enough and seem to know the score.
Well worth a look.

A bit of an institution in the old outdoors gear world, Millets has been around for as ling as i can remember and has always been considered one of the more reputable brands for outdoor gear.
In a good location, this place is worth hitting when your doing the rounds looking for the best deal on a bit off outdoor kit. Good service, good stock and reasonable pricing, well worth a visit.
