Goof for picking a wee coffee at lunch time but poor selection of sandwiches, particularly low fat options

As Marks and Spencer shops go, this one is definitely at the lower end of the scale. Joined to the BP garage, as you would expect it stocks primarily the essentials and is unlikely to be locals first choice for their weekly shop. Nevertheless, given its situation in such a barren stretch of Great Western Road, there is little doubt it is a handy resource for residents of the Hughenden area and perhaps even some in Anniesland, particularly for beers and wine. With viable alternatives including the vastly over-priced Somerfield a little further along Great Western Road and the much further away Morrisons and Aldi, it definitely serves a purpose.
