Lush

My sister decided to treat me to a little something from Lush (not sure what she is after yet or if she was just stocking up on brownie points) and this is definitely her favourite Lush. Although it is a small store, it is crammed full (in a pretty, presentable fashion) of all the Lush goodies that you could possibly ever need! I love their products!
The bath bombs/​bubble bars tend to be located in the centre and are the first thing to catch your eye — so pretty! Soaps are located to one side and various skincare products etc to the other. Gift sets are always located near the tills. Some people find the smell of Lush stores overbearing but I really like it. The staff are nice, really nice and in all honesty, sometimes a little bit too much for my liking. I would like to be left alone to browse more without having someone ask if me if I had tried this before or trying to ‘sell’ it to me. Maybe I’m just becoming a moody so and so as I get older but I just personally find it a bit much sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate help and advice if I ask for it but a friendly greeting would be enough for me most of the time.
Anyway, that’s just my personal preference and the staff do a really good job; they really do know their stuff. If you’re looking for service with a smile… you will get it when making your purchases from Lush! Even though this store is small, I’ve never found it to be crowded and I can understand why this is my sister’s favourite Lush store.

This is quite a small Lush store but still jam packed with the usual Lush goodies! From shower gels, to fresh face masks, to their make up range, all products with a great ethos.
I find this a great store to pick up gifts or a little treat for myself that doesn’t cost a bomb but puts a smile on my face.
The staff are always super friendly and helpful, I know some people might get stressed out at being asked if they need help from more than one staff member, but I’ve always found them so genuinely happy and upbeat that you can’t help but smile. Now that’s a great bonus in my book :)
Remember to return your used, but clean, pots to store. If you take back 5 pots you get a free fresh face mask which is a fab thank you to customers who buy things regularly. (The face mask also comes in a returnable pot to start your next collection to take back!).

I’ve been meaning to write this review for ages, but good thing I waited because I didn’t realise how attached I’ve become to lush until my recent little trip away where I had to leave some of my precious things at home.
I used to get soaps and perfumes and massage bars in nz, it was a common stop for presents when I lived in Berlin, but since living in Glasgow I couldn’t really justify the spend.
This was until I stopped by the Sauchiehall st shop where the staff member was amazing and introduced me to the talc-​like powder which I love so so much, the block deodorants that my skin loves and which are great for travelling because you can take them on the plane, and all the natural and often vegan make up, and lip scrubs (which are once again, very skin friendly).
They may be slightly pricier than other places, but worth every penny.

As detailed in my review for the Buchanan St store, I’m a fan of Lush. I won’t rave about their beautiful products again, but just want to note a couple of things about this particular store.
It’s much smaller than the Buchanan Street store but, surprisingly, it still carries the full range of products. The only thing they might not have in are the special products that come out now and then. It’s well laid out, with shelves down either side, and one big centre bar, and somehow it seems quite spacious. So it’s very easy to quickly find what you’re looking for.
I find it a much more enjoyable store to be in. It tends to be less rammed than the bigger store, which means it is easier to browse products at your leisure. Also, because there are fewer staff and fewer customers, there’s less chance of you being asked if you are OK every minute. The lighting is much less harsh, and also the smells (nice as they are) are not as noticeable in this store, I suppose because there are fewer customers trying things out, so overall, it’s not an overpowering experience, like I sometimes find in the bigger store.
Staff are very pleasant as you would expect, quick to help, and have the usual nice patter — when I popped in very quickly at the weekend to buy a bath bomb present for someone, I was reassured of my choice with a joyful cry of ‘who doesn’t love bubbles!’ Aww.

Great Lush location and the people are really helpful. It’s definitely more cramped than the Buchanan street one. Usual products and layout with knowledgable people ready to help you out.

I’m a huge fan of Lush products. There are over a dozen regular items I buy now, as well as extravagances I get when I am feeling fLUSH which is very rarely.
It can get cramped at Christmas time as it’s not very big inside, but all the different types of products are all laid out independently so it is easy to find what you are after. Most of the products are also Vegan.
The staff are lovely and keen, and really know the products well.
There’s always new stuff coming out so it’s worth diving in here every now and then just for a wee look and to grab the Lush times magazine.
Ideal to spoil yourself or for great gifts.

I do love Lush. There’s something lovely about treating yourself to handmade natural products in a cute and quirky environment that’s much better than buying mass produced chemical packed tat that you would find in your average chemist.
The staff in here are always incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the products, often willing to give you free samples of the latest items when you make a purchase.
From big sloppy natural face masks to slather yourself with, to sumptuous soaps that make your skin feel amazing, the stuff here is the ultimate in luxury bathing goodies.

Lush is just that– LUSH.
The smell hits you before you’re within 20 feet of the establishment, and it doesn’t relent. From bath bombs to face masks with fresh ingredients, they stock all sorts of treats to make you supple, hydrated, and smelling beautiful. Yummy!
This branch is smaller than the big mamma on Buchanan Street, but they pack in enough goodies to make it worth a visit.
My favourite products are the fresh face masks. Made with all sorts of lovely ingredients, they have a range to suit all sorts of skin types and problems. Some of them only keep fresh in the fridge for a week, others last a little longer. They are more expensive than what you’d buy at the likes of Boots, but it’s worth it if you really care about your skin or just want a pick-​me-​up.
It’s also a brilliant place to buy gifts for your girlfriends (platonic or otherwise!), and a more original and thoughtful substitute to a generic pack of smelly bath salts.
Go on, treat yourself!

LUSH has a special place in my heart. I spent some time travelling in Asia with a friend who only uses LUSH products (including their deodorant bar), and so my memories of the developing countries we visited are not of stinky sewers or street-​side curries as you would expect, but of LUSH products. Even now, walking down the street and catching a whiff, my mind is automatically cast back to the days when I lived out a rucksack and ate rice three times a day.
Now, I’m sorry LUSH probably wont have the same affect on you, but next time you get a whiff coming out of the store, I’d recommend you have a wee nosey.
LUSH sells all sorts of hand-​made beauty products and cosmetics which smell absolutely lovely. Their ethos is that their company is more environmentally friendly due to the natural products and lack of packaging — and hey, it’s nice to buy beauty products and feel good about doing so. Bath bombs are a must, and make excellent gifts too.

Located on one of the main shopping streets, the delicious scents drift out from this Lush store enticing you in! The window displays are bright and eye catching and the products are well displayed. The store is set out on 2 levels. Downstairs is quite small and may be hard to navigate if it gets busy. Upstairs is more spread out, a bit more space to browse. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They recommended some good products to me and were very enthusiastic. Everyone seemed really cheerful and happy to be there, which is rare to see in sales assistants!
One of the best Lush stores I have been to, I call in whenever I go to Glasgow!

This is an okay sized shop but it is not my favourite Lush shop although handy if I am shoping in this area as it saves going to Buchanan Street. They sell the usual smells and various colours of bath bombs. The staff are friendly and will offer guidance if required you get the feeling they are happy to help which makes for good customer service thus return visits. The smells in the shop can be a bit overpowering though. They also stock the usual lotions and potions different creams for different parts of the body. Expensive but nice to give as a present or as a special treat to yourself.

A good selection of Lush products, the staff are friendly too. My only quibble is the location isn’t as nice as the Buchanan Street shop — although I doubt they could do much about that being right next to the Savoy Centre. A good selection of gift packs.
