Usually I don’t take my lady business into the public domain, preferring to preen and wax at home because of some wee trust issues, and of course the cost. Thanks to Wowcher, though, I was offered a deal I couldn’t refuse. For £12, I could have waxed my lower legs, bikini area, under-​arms, upper lips and eyebrows (the last two I didn’t need or use). Anybody who knows anything about the cost of a good beautician will know that such a deal is quite fantastic and pretty hard to come by.
The lovely proprietress was warm, friendly, and chatty! Never underestimate the importance of chattiness when you’re getting yourself waxed… It’s so very pleasantly distracting. Quick and professional, all offending hairs were whipped off quick as a flash, and I managed to get out with my dignity intact –I even managed a graceful dismount from the table! I would most definitely come back again, and for someone with trust issues that’s a lot to say.
