They are pricey but our clothes always come back in pristine condition from the alterations to the dry cleaning. The door is pretty heavy so beware if you are carrying tons of clothes to drop off that you’ll have to really push that door.
They are closed on Sundays and the time to get something back can be longer if you drop off your items on Saturday.

Thought this was a high class dry cleaners to put my Versace evening dress in for a simple dry clean– how wrong I was.
It came back RUINED beyond repair.
Straps broken off, Versace buckles broken into pieces, holes EVERYWHERE, the length is now uneven (how they managed this I will never know) and it’s lost all it’s shine and changed colour!!!
Feel sick at losing such a beautiful and expensive dress by their incompetent hands.
The two women at the Hyndland Road branch were also extremely rude and completely unapologetic! Worst customer service I have ever seen!

Johnsons does a good job, but no better than any other, and do they charge for it! For some reason dry cleaning worked out at about £20. And then they will try to interest you in this executive club, where you pay membership and then get included in what they called executive. For this you get a dashing new suit bag thing, and 12% off every dry cleaning after than? Good if you need to come back often but not good if you actually know that other dry cleaners exist which will do it cheaper.
I actually also find if they would like to charge more they could at least open a bit later so my boyfirend could go take his own suit after work rather than me do it. Or even on a sunday, why do they not open on a sunday? People need suits dry cleaned at the weekend!

I only nipped in here for price comparison purposes (who needs
when you have feet??) and left swiftly with raised eyebrows. Don’t bother — any local laundrette will do the same job at half the price. Though the ladies behind the counter were very nice!
