I’m presently a laptop person, and this is hands down my favourite place to work. Their tea and coffee are both excellent. They’re one of the few places I know of in Glasgow where you can get North American-style coffee in a cafetière. They have lovely biscuits and cakes, baked by the owners. Their lunches are basic but wonderful — all homemade with high quality ingredients. They’ve got great customer service, and the owners are nice to chat with when they’re not busy. On top of that, it’s inexpensive, and they have their own wireless network and two tables(out of a total of 6) where you can access a plug. Highly recommended.

Have visited this little gem on a Saturday or Sunday. Excellent breakfasts and coffees.

Well well well, ain’t this part of town just the new up and coming delight of the Glasgow eaty drinky sitty chatty type culture. I’ve lost count of the number of top class wee coffee shops/deli’s that have popped up in this area of late and this one is a fine addition to the crowd. Grianach, meaning sunny place in Gaelic, is a fine destination for an excellent spot of lunch, or even a coffee and bit of cake… all home made. What nice about this place is its feel. Yes its not huge, and the décor is very minimalist, however this adds to the charm, as does the addition of light boxes on each of the tables for those of us who may get a spot of the SAD when the old sun goes on its winter holidays. Added brownie points are given for free wifi. Very good guys, i like.
