Greggs isn’t really a bakers in the traditional sense of the word — I’d never buy bread from them, but for a quick pasty, sausage roll or sandwich they are a reliable option. However, I always get peckish around 5pm and this branch is always closed at that time! Greggs are missing out on a opportunity here…

I’ve made my feelings clear on Greggs a couple of times before during my Unilocal adventures, but with a new outlet opening, and defacing the lovely Gibson Street, it’s time for more insults.
It’s a chaotic whirlwind of grotty, processed food, Vicki Pollard style customers, and vile staff members whom provide the strongest argument yet that genocide is ok in some circumstances. I despise Greggs, and feel it really does highlight the depths that British society has plumbed to. Cheap, nasty, mannerless and chronically unhealthy.
Yet I’ll be back tomorrow, and possibly the day after. Therein lies the paradox.
