Local café with friendly staff, very popular with mums surrounded by tiny tots waiting to pick up their other kids from the nearby nursery. Lovely scones served with lashings of butter and the coffee was tip top too.

Since moving to Battlefield 4 months ago, I’ve tried to get to know all the local shops near my flat (also get to know where to get good lunches!). The staff in drizzle are really friendly, their bread is freshly made by Kember and Jones, and their selection of cakes is always tempting. Sandwich selection is small but delicious (good for meat eaters but not so great for veggies!).
Bonus point: it’s on one level (no steps) so very accessible for those with prams etc
