I’m catching up on all my festive season reviews today! I’ve been to Dinos many times and always have a good time. My two boys love it in there, the staff always chat away and teach them a little Italian. The food and service are great and it’s just a cozy, quaint, fun place to be. Take your kids if you have any. The wife and i love this place for it’s cheerful service and the family feel. The food is excellently priced too. Fun for all the family!

The other half and I came to Dino’s last night for a pre-movie munch as we had an hout and a half to kill before seeing Man Of Steel. This was the first time we had both been here. We were wowed when we stepped through the doorway by the décor and the ambiance. It certainly wasn’t what we expected from looking at the outside. We were seated quickly and had our drinks order taken right away but we then waited 15 minutes to be have our order taken by the other waiter as it was so busy. The waiting staff were really friendly and enthusiastic and I was very impressed by their service. We only had a short wait for our order(12 inch ham and pepperoni pizza and fries). We were really impressed with the pizza, I give it 10 out of 10 for presentation, flavor and spice. Best pizza I have ever had by far. After scoffing the lot we got the bill which was a respectable £22 for our pizza(Extra £2.10 to share it) and 2 Budweiser. We can’t wait to go back and try some pasta next time!

Not the best place for sit in dining but a nice option for takeaway pizza, pasta and chips. Pricing is reasonable but the cakes on offer at the counter are a bit overpriced as are the options for add on cheese/sauce/mayo etc. Tasty though and I still get takeaway from here regularly.

I came by to order pizzas to take out, l only came in as l was passing by l was having guest’s coming round before a night out l walked in and ordered my pizza’s and side’s and was told that l would have to wait outside as l was holding a starbucks coffee and as it was not purchased in shop l was not allowed to hold it in store so l went outside, the guy came out after me and said he was only joking l said that was fine but l will stay outside till my order was ready. I have not been back or intent coming back, staff there think they are funny and are probably trying to break the ice with customers but not realising that they are driving them away.

I love places like this. The décor is classic Scottish-Italian, wooden panelling with stainless and glass food displays. It seems a bit more streamline than the epitome of this style«University Café on Byres» but still is a very pleasant little place in the centre of town. It is split in two — Restaurante with tables and Cafeteria with booths. The Takeaway is perched outside of the Café and dominated with a massive pizza oven on the right hand side. And so now we get to it. This place looks to be setup to make stunning pies. I mean half of the flipping entrance is dedicated to it. These ovens are not tucked away in the back but right out in the front of this place. A screaming statement made real in Culinary Stainless Steel– WE Make Pizza… So I dropped in here on the request of a friend who was running late and needed something before the evening began. He insisted on getting a Pizza Slice with Bolognese. I am wondering what the hell is that? It turns out it is a square slice with spaghetti sauce put on top. I got the Pepperoni and Mushrooms. So, we receive our slices and and I check to see if the bottoms are cooked. And then I realise that these crusts will never be cooked. The best way to describe them is a flan covered with sauce and cheese. The dough is thick and cakey. It was quite light and needed a fork to consume it. Was it filling? Yeah. Fairly tasty? Sure. But it sure the hell wasn’t Pizza. Not sure what it was. Someone suggested deep dish. But it was not that. So here is the main question. I do not know why if you have the ovens and show them off to everyone — why not just make great pizza? Pizza Dough is easy to make. You don’t need to twirl the dough just punch it out into a rough circle. Add good ingredients and hot oven — Tah dah Great Pizza. This is not rocket science. Don’t ask me why opportunities missed like this bug me, They just do.

If your looking for a place with take away pizza look no further. You could actually also eat in but this place takes the cake. The pizza is DELICIOUS. Freshly made to order all the ingredients are quality and the pizza is as authentic as you’ll find. The quality for price is outstanding as well. Love the menu and everything on it. I am a BIG fan of Dino’s.

Who eats breakfast on a Sunday at 9am in Glasgow? I began to wonder that question as I strolled the streets and found most places closed up. We passed Dino’s and they were open, and empty. We ordered the eggs, coffee and they had them out in 15 minutes. The manager(or owner, not sure) was very much on top the service. We continually had water, coffee and our plates cleared. Fairly inexpensive of a place, and I was glad, someone in Glasgow understands people need to eat… at least in the morning! They also have outdoor seating, open most of the year, from Spring to Fall.

Dino’s was not too shabby. Walking in the place definitely gives off that familiar italian restaurant feeling. I went here for dinner and started with the MInestrone, which was pretty amazing. I even spotted some Kale in there. Nice work, Dino. For my entrée I went with the old standby Spaghetti and Meatballs, and it fell a little short on my expectations. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, but the sauce and the meatballs lacked gumption. The other gentlemen I was dining with seemed to enjoy their meals, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Next time I’ll roll with the bolognese. Oh, the waiter had a pretty sweet Italian mustache. I feel like that should be mentioned.

I have a soft spot for Dino’s. When my man was wee, his parents would take him and his brother here as a treat after… doing something which I’ve now forgotten. But, because of this, Dino’s is our go-to place for a reasonably priced tasty bit of grub whenever we’re in Glasgow. I’ve been a couple of times and find the food nice, and the waiters classically adorably Italian. They flirt with all of the girls, regardless of age, and are generally a good laugh. Last night we came here before going to a gig in the Royal Concert Hall. Unlike last time we opted for pasta over pizza(though I do always love a nice Italian thin crust pizza) and my penne all’arribiata was classic and tasty, as was my man’s spaghetti and meatballs. Basic dishes, but they were exactly what we needed.

Late night coffee to take away on a Monday night… hello, hellooo, hellooooooo… Glasgow? Anyone? Suddenly a light breaks through the ‘closed feck off!’ gloom. What is that shining beacon… is it open? Will it serve coffee? Is it a late night oil change service/dental practice/Young Conservative drop in spot? Have no fear good Unilocaler, the place in question is indeed a wee italian café serving up coffee’s to the cities late night wanderers… bliss. Good coffee, good service, good lord thanks for being open! Thats all.

Dino’s is one of Glasgow’s oldest and greatest Italian restaurants, serving up a mixture of hearty Italian sit in meals and delicious takeaway pizzas for one. Split into two dining sections, the restaurant on Sauchiehall Street allows for people on the go to visit as much as it caters for people sitting in. To one side of the restaurant, there is a traditional dining area, complete with checked table cloths, stained glass partitions and homely pictures hanging on the wall. Here, you can take your pick of a full and interesting menu, from the simple(but delicious) spag bol to some gorgeous spicy pizzas. They have a good range of food, from easy peasy pizzas to some more unusual pasta plates. They serve a number of meat based meals but also cater to vegetarians, with the option of creating your own pasta or pizza. The other side of the restaurant caters to people grabbing a snack on the go. You can purchase anything here, from a personalised 7 inch pizza to sandwiches, focaccia and a great cup of coffee. There are stools and some seats towards the back, so you can sit in if you don’t fancy rushing. They also have an outdoor seating area if you fancy a cup of tea and biscuit in the sun whilst watching the world go by. My personal favourites from Dino’s are theirpotato skins and dip, oven baked lasagne and sea food pizza. It’s been a firm favourite of mine over the years, and since it has been long established as one of Glasgow’s better Italian diners, a favourite within my family for generations. Fresh food, tasty dishes and friendly staff — what more can you ask for?

Almost every time we go to the cinema in the centre of Glasgow of an evening, we make a trip to Dino’s. As well as being a really nice little restaurant — it also has a takeaway counter. This is usually where we can be found, propping up the little bar while we await our takeaway pizza. As well as making damn good pizza, Dino’s is also cheap, quick and really friendly. To be honest, I’m not really sure what more you could ask for in a takeaway! As well as the pizzas(we always go for the pepperoni — yum!) you will also find filled baguettes, calzones, pasta, various bottled drinks and cakes. If it feels a little bizarre to be buying a tuna mayo baguette or a slice of rocky road in an authentic Italian eaterie — then don’t let it bother you. Roll with it, and you’ll find that you’ll come to love Dino’s as much as the rest of us.

Dino’s is a great place to go for an authentic Italian meal in Glasgow. Its chequered tablecloths bring a Lady & The Tramp feel to the place, whilst you are served delicious food by cheerful Italian waiters. you can opt to sit in the proper restaurant or the café area instead, where you can choose from a wide selection of pizza and pasta — and the best is yet to come. They have a wonderful counter full of cakes, from which I chose the biggest piece of chocolate cake I could find. Not for the faint hearted, this is the richest and chocolatiest of cakes, that my sister and I shared between us and were still stuffed and satisfied. They also serve pizzas by the slice at the takeaway counter, which is ideal if you’re in the mood for some good Italian food on the go.

There’s something wonderfully authentic about Dino’s, even though it’s an Italian restaurant that also sells bacon rolls and fish and chips from the takeaway counter. It just has a lovely feel that I can’t put my finger on. Maybe it’s the décor that’s been untouched for a good 20 years but still looks the part, or the ham legs and wine bottles adorning the walls, or the cheerful and highly strung waiters. It just manages to feel like a proper Italian bistro cum café, slightly scruffy and disorganised, but all the better for it. The foods good too, with the Serrano ham and capers pizza top of my list. I also recently stopped here for a coffee and a cracking bit of rocky road. Unmissable.

I came here for a meeting when on a week’s work placement — unusual but pleasant choice of venue — and it certainly calmed my work experience nerves. Not wanting to rock the boat I ordered the same as everyone else(a variety of teas, coffees, bacon and sausage rolls) with a cup of tea and a bacon roll. The fellow who served us, scurrying about, was so jolly even just to look at that he banished away any worries. The bill was taken care of so I don’t know how pricey it was but since this was the obvious choice for the team for their frequent meetings I guess it must be good value and it seemed like a reliable choice. I think more work places should have meetings in these conditions — it promotes a good work ethic. Honest.

I’ve eaten here on many an occasion, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The beauty of Dino’s is that it can cater for all occasions — from a morning roll, to a quick lunch, to an evening out. I’ve only ever had lunch here. The restaurant is gigantic and you are always met by a tiny waiter of rockets off into the depths of the restaurant with you trying to keep pace behind. A fairly good bet for me is a pizza slice. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s just the right size for anyone with a small appetite. Thick of crust and quite stodgy, it may not be to everyone’s taste. As you sit, you will notice the steady stream of traffic to the small take-away area, serving up baguettes and filled rolls to hungry customers. A reliable place to eat, you can see why it’s been in business for such a long time.

This is a nice little restaurant in the centre of town that also has a take away part which serves pizzas at one half and sandwiches and cakes at the other. The sandwiches are brilliant with a nice variety of fresh breads and fillings. They also sell freshly baked doughnuts the size of your head! Mmm! The restaurant is a little expensive but they serve nice meals both for lunch and dinner. Their pasta and pizza is delicious.

i visited this establishment once, and only once, after a trip to the cinema one evening — and to be quite frank, i’m never going back! our food took a life age of the earth to arrive — and when it did, the pizza was soggy and unappetizing, and the pasta had been boiled almost to the point of being past recognition. it was thoroughly disappointing all round. to be avoided at all costs!
