Another great food outlet for the Lenzie area. Great food, friendly staff & a clean & tidy shop. Only bad point is it can take a ehile sometimes to get your food ready, although the quality & quantity is superb

this place fits in very well with its surrounds. Sadly the surrounds are rather ugly/poorly kept. The Pizzas and most of stuff are just really lack lustre but are fairly cheap. Its popular though that may be because there is so little in the way of other choices around here.

Down amongst the cluster of shops on Millersneuk Road hides Da Carlo’s takeaway, a chip shop-pizzeria which is massively popular with the locals. They sell something which i have never come across, the pasta fritter, which is fried pizza dough shaped into triangles. I have it on good authority that these are amazing. I had a pizza from here once, and i have to say i didn’t really like it. The base was too thin for me, and the sauce a bit too herby, almost on the perfumey side. My boyfriend loves them though, so maybe it’s just my personal taste. The sign outside looks a bit like the local primary school have been allowed to make it at Arts and Crafts, but it all adds to the charm of the place… i suppose.
