Control Headquarters

I had a GroupOn voucher for here, the deal was a Full Head of Highlights or Full Head of Colour, Plus Conditioning Treatment for £35 at Control Headquarters (Worth up to £101). It was an extra £10 for a haircut but I had already recently been to a hairdressers.
I didn’t know what to expect and I had tried phoning several times to make an appointment and I had to leave messages as nobody ever answered, which I thought was weird. I never got a call returned so I thought I’d do a dummy run to find the place. I was very surprised to find a wee red painted shop front, it was a lot smaller than I thought. I went in and I managed to book an appointment.
The day of my appointment arrived and I sat down with the hairdresser to decide what colour I was having done. I wanted purple but all the had was red so I went for a dark red and a bright red for my blonde bits already in my hair.
They did an alright job, her assistant had bright red hair so I knew it would be bright enough for me. I like to have bright colourful hair. My hair colour turned out really nice and I was pleased with it. I felt they were a little rough when washing and styling but I realised it was only the two ladies that were working there hence why they never answer the phone and there was another customer in aswell.
It was a different experience and was pleased at the discount from the GroupOn voucher. It can cost me usually £90-£100 for bleaching, full head colour including colour for bleached areas and also a cut so I was surprised it would cost £101 just for colour. I normally would go to a hairdresser in town and this is also why I only go about twice a year.
I’m not sure if I’d go back as it seems to be quite expensive but they have given me another offer so I would come back. I’ll wait a while and see how I feel then when my colour needs a top up.
