I use this carpark a lot as it is situated prefectly for going to the cinema, picking up or dropping someone off at the bus station or to shop on sauchiehall Street and Buchanan street. The prices used to be more reasonable but they have over the last couple of years put them up. A good deal is if you go in after 6pm is a flat rate of £2.50 no matter how long you stay(well until the am) I also think this is the same on a Sunday but all day, but double check that.

I used to park here quite a bit as it’s actually a really good city centre location — especially if you’re at the top end of town(e.g. for a concert/theatre show) or visiting the Arc at Glasgow Caledonian. Recently though I’ve started parking at King Street when I visit town as it’s a bit cheaper than here. Anyway, I returned to park here today. Good things about the carpark include: — Pretty spacious spaces. I like that you don’t feel too cramped driving around the car park and you aren’t too close to the car next to you either(unless they can’t park properly which is a whole other story). — Great location, as mentioned above. It’s handy for Buchanan Street, Sauchiehall Street, concerts at the Theatre Royal and assorted stuff around that area. Not so good things include: — Parking meters on the ground floor only, as Sharon M said. I had even read her review before going here today and STILL walked up a flight of stairs before I heard her voice in my head saying«ground floor only!» and having to head back down again. — Today the top level was closed because of the snow. The carpark was very nearly full which would’ve been quite annoying. — The payment machines don’t always work so you might want to make sure you have coins as back up. — It’s not cheap — especially compared to King Street. 3 hours here is £5, up to 10 hours at King Street is £5. Pah!
