I visited here using the 70% discoun I got in Snapfax. A cut and highlights cost me over £40 quid with the discount. Can that be right? Either I got completely robbed, or that’s just the price of a haircut nowadays. I’m notoriously tight-​fisted anyway.
Anyway, I told the hairdresser I wanted some highlights a couple of shades lighter than my natural colour. You will see from my photo that my hair is very dark brown. So how I came out of that salon a blonde I do not know.
To be fair, I did quite like it. I’ve always harboured a secret desire to be a brash platinum blonde. The highlights looked quite classy and the tone was flattering, but all the same, it wasn’t what I had asked for.
