I’m not a coffee drinker, so I’ve got no opinion to share when it comes to that. But what I do know is chocolate. I opted for the Hot Chocolate Milano when I stopped in the other day after shopping, because if there are two hot chocolate options, I’ll always go for the fancier one. It was topped with cream and grated chocolate. I have to say, it may be the richest hot chocolate I’ve ever had in a café. Definitely the best I’ve had in Glasgow so far. I’ve also had a piece of chocolate fudge cake for takeaway in the past, and that was similarly rich and sweet. I will absolutely be back to this or other Caffe Nero locations.

Ok the environment is lovely however the service is very slow, I ordered a simple cappuccino and it took the girl 10 minutes without anyone else waiting.
I would go again but not if I am on my way into work.

Caffe Nero is good as the under dog of the big three, including costa and starbucks. I like the Nero card, I know Starbucks has one too, but Nero is right where I need it in the very close vacinity of the train station. Great! I get a quick cake before the train and a drink even though I don’t want one particularly. It is crazy what a loyalty card will do to you, I am the same with Boots.
I like the fact that Caffe Nero is not the top player or the second, I actually feel a little better going here than to the other two, although I don’t have any loyalty, so I am a coffee shop nightmare.

This is a fantastic café, i find i don’t quite enjoy other competitors beverages quite as much as Nero, the service is above the average these days as staff are polite, will be real and chatty with you and work hard. Unfortunately i think this branch is shutting down, it use to have an internet café half to it, as that business went bust the store is half empty now.

I had never been here before until very recently and, amusingly, for all the same reasons that Stewart Lee mapped out in his recent stand-​up performance in Glasgow.
They have a loyalty card and they’re super cool with heating up milk for your kids (this is not a universal theme, but credit where it’s due, Starbucks are also cool with this).
Such was the motivation for my friend, who I met with her 2 year old, meeting here.
There’s only a handful of places that are cool to meet with kids going through the terrible twos but this was a good shout.
The coffee was also good. Which is good.
