Most folk by now, will realise this about me… I like curries and burgers!
This is a local restaurant to me & as an out of city place, it really does well against them in the food quality department & interior ambience. Is it my most favourite first go to place? Not exactly — The Den is my most favourite place in the world, but sometimes I don’t want to drive a 15 miles round trip for a curry!
Having this place within a mile is a god send & I know it’s fresh, cooked with care & the service is warm and friendly. This is a place where everyone is a regular & knows everyone. That in part is what makes this a great place. You don’t have a raft of passers by, so in order to keep regulars you can’t disappoint them with sub standard food. (You won’t get the generic ‘tomato’ base for every single dish here!)
We show our faces around 2 – 3 times a month here & have done for nearly 4 years now. As long as this place is still around and we live here, it will be the same for the next 4 years.
They have recently opened a huge hall on the back, so larger parties and events are also catered for. Great amenities for something local!
