Even though I enjoy Thai food, I’ve been to this take away only a few times, When l have ordered from here I’ve always enjoyed what I Have had. They have a good selection on offer and the waiting area is comfortable. In reticent weeks they have done a few changes and have added a section with a display of home made cakes & biscuits in the window, I’m not sure what that is all about maybe they have lost their direction and are trying to compete with the café next door.

This was one of those recommendations which came completely out of left field. Dear Green Coffee(the collective): You tried this place? Me(singular unit): Whit place? DGC: Thai joint in Finnieston Me: Who and a what now? Seed was sewn. I had to try it. Roll along a couple of months and I find myself at the end of a long week and in dire need of tasty grub. BING! Now this is indeed an odd wee character. As a takeaway it bears little to no resemblance to anything fast foody that we stumble into in Glasgow. As a sit in… well, I just can’t see how it would work(surely a missed opportunity here!?) as the seating is limited and really does not lend itself to supping down grub. Hey ho. Anyway, after a quick swatch at the menu my mouth was watering. Don’t ask me names, but I’m sure after a quick nosey at this list of edibles, you’ll be fighting your way through 4 or 5 options. I ended up plumping for the peanut curry with chicken. The grub? Perfect. Lovely thai spice but with a good depth of flavour. Good whack of a portion too, and with a small rice totaling just over 6 notes, pretty outstanding value. I will def be returning to this joint. The depth of the menu alone is enough to have me returning to check a few of the options oot.
