Fantastic Italian Restaurant. Staff were fab and accommodated all of our food intolerances and allergies. Lots of GlutenFree options and a vegan menu. I had the dish of the day — Basil Oil based pasta sauce with Italian meat and roasted peppers(minus the tomatoes as I’m intolerant to them) The dessert of the day was mojito cheesecake — GLUTENFREE so my sister & daughter were ecstatic! There were also dairy free pudding options — sorbets. We shall definitely be back!

This little Italian restaurant is close to where my family stay, so it’s a firm favourite of theirs. This was my first time back since going vegan and I was so surprised at my many options. When we arrived, it was really busy due to it being the school holidays. There was also nine of us at one table. This still didn’t affect the service. These guys are so efficient! On their main menu, it states that certain dishes can be made vegan. Didn’t expect to see this on their at all. Most of the family were dining on the lunch for £6.50 menu(two courses) and I was over the moon to discover I could pick from this menu too. I went for the minestrone soup with lovely, fluffy bread(minus the butter) for my starter. It was almost a meal on it’s own. So tasty. For the main, I went for the special pasta of the day. Penne with sundried tomatoes, red onion and mushrooms in a basil oil. This was awesome. They even have sorbets that are vegan-friendly for dessert, but I was pretty full after my two hearty courses. This place is so cheap, the staff are super friendly and they seem very accomodating to dietary requirements. It’s always busy, so definitely book before you visit. It’s not your traditional Italian joint, but the food is really great for the price.

I have been here a few times and have always been very happy with the food and service. This place seems to be very busy all of the time and if you are looking to go you will probably need a reservation. I had the pollo milanese, the dish was wonderful and the portion size was excellent. The staff could not have been more attentive during our meal and where quick to act on any request we had.

This was my second visit here, today it was a quick coffee and cake. The food is delicious and large portions ensure that the diner has value for money. The owner is a big personality and still very present in the restaurant. Nothing was too much bother. Great food at a great price, I’d definitely go back.

Booked this place for sisters birthday bash! Lovely place, Cosy and once inside you could be anywhere except corner of Paisley road west. Nice décor! I had pâté to start with, pâté bit bland, and instead of chutney it was served with strawberry jam. Portion size, too small. Ordered pasta of the day, lovely and tasty. had fresh meringue and ice cream for desert, ice cream was ½ scoop and meringue was tiny, all I can say is, not enough to fatten a sparrow. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Did not have to wait long. Pity food was not as good.

Walked in at half 7 on Saturday and even though place was jumping we still got served. 3 course meal with drinks for under £40. Superb pasta and a great homemade burger. Beautifully balanced flavours and a great dining atmosphere. Definitely one for the casual diner. We will be back.
