Apple Tree

We booked last minute and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere is quite laid back which is nice.
We all opted for a Sunday roast, each a different meat. I went for chicken which was awesome! The portions were huge! I then had the chocolate brownie for dessert.
A very nice meal my only complaint is that the service was slow so don’t go if you are in a rush!

There are so many reasons why I’d want to move to England. Oddly enough, food being one of them and this is one of those places that has it all: great food, great beers, great atmosphere, great service. Like a perfect storm of greatness.
I had their lamb dish and it was cooked just right. I love lamb but have found difficulty finding lamb that’s good in North America and have found that the best places for lamb is in Southern India and Northwest China. I’ve had lamb all over the world and those two places, to me, had the best lamb. But the lamb in England isn’t all that bad either, thanks to this place.
I also had one of their local brews and it was pretty good. I’m a huge fan of dark, bitter beer and what they suggested fit the bill.
There’s a nice outdoor grassy eating area perfect for some beers after work with some friends but the indoor is also nice with large windows to look out into the beautiful country.
Service was alert and very helpful.
If you get a chance to visit England, this is one place to visit for sure.

Nice food and venue but slightly less than average service considering the prices.

Went last nite nice crowd great food you must try the champagne beer nice buzz to the place or was that just me after the beer

The Apple Tree in Gerrards Cross is a beautiful country pub. It is generally recommended that you make a booking before going otherwise you may be disappointed especially when you see the fantastic food that is being served to the all the customers! We went for a Sunday lunch and it was sooo good. They offer all the meats Roast Beef, Roast Chicken, Roast Lamb and Roast Pork. Portion sizes are massive and food is well cooked. Service at The Apple Tree was at all times pleasant, friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area (and even worth a trip if you’re not!)
