Central Cuisine

Ordered a chilli vegetarian pizza from them today, it arrived and was just onion and chilli. that’s it. i rang them to tell them that it was really not very nice and they very nicely offered to send another out, i asked for a margarita to avoid any potential taste disasters. It arrived and it was still doughy. not cooked at all and covered in garlic, whole chunks of garlic. WHY in the name of allah does a margarita have GARLIC on it. FAIL.
Rubbish, never go. Ever.

Central Cuisine is a pleasant little chippy in Maghull’s town square (hence the ‘Central’ part of the name, one would assume) that specialises in a range of Chinese and English dishes, as well as a few other surprises.
The shop itself is quite long inside and looks impeccably clean (always a good sign when you’re visiting an establishment where food is cooked and prepared) and I was pleased to read on a sign on the door as I entered that they were «now using new potatoes» because, let’s face it, nobody wants to eat old potatoes, do they?
The food itself is all very well made and is pretty tasty by usual chippy standards, without being anything too extravagant or mind-​blowing. The prices there are a little bit more expensive than your usual chippy, but the quality of the food and the cheery, friendly staff more than make up for this.

Central Cuisine in… well Maghull’s central square, is an excellent takeaway offering varied cuisine. Whether you want Chinese, traditional fish and chips, burgers or a Greek meal, Central has got your fatty-​food needs covered.
Prices are reasonable, and not dirt cheap as most takeaways are. This is because the cuisine is actually of a high standard. The place also always looks sparkling clean as well which reassures me that my food is being made in a hygienic kitchen!
You’ll be interested to know that C. Cs also offers free delivery, although I prefer to walk down there and just pick my food up.
I’d highly recommend the fish and chips!
