A small but useful outlet of Tesco’s ‘local’ stores, with a small parking area, situated in the heart of this 1980s estate on the north side of Frome. For such a small store, it actually has a surprisingly wide range of stock — I was able to buy everything I needed to make a whole week-end’s worth of vegetarian meals, including a nice cheese-board, and the wine selection is not half bad either. Staff are reasonably efficient and very friendly(chatty in a West Country sort of way, hence being a little slower than elsewhere — but that’s what you come to Somerset for, isn’t it?) The store has disabled access and a cash-point, as well as a small car-park(currently being enlarged). The generous opening hours are really useful in a small town where most other shops close at five-thirty.
