Subway

Poor and expensive, better to get something from the bakers down the road.

same old Subway, disgusting food slammed into a bread roll of your choice and sold with a smile.

If you have seen in one Subway you’ve seen them all. The food is great as you can beat a meatball sub. But if meatballs are not your thing there is a plethora of meats and fish to choose from. Then you can top it all off with any salad that takes your fancy.
The prices are ok with a 6 sub coming in a £3-£3.50 and a footlong is usually £5.
Also if you get there early enough (before 11am) you can get a great breakfast sub with a bacon or sausage coming in a £1 and ‘the works’ is £2 a superb way to start a morning.
The staff are friendly enough and never push ‘double cheese’ ‘double meat’ as I have seen in other branches. I have enjoyed a quick chat with them in quiet times and the place is always clean despite the ‘school’ crowd all bustling in there at lunch time.
Great sandwiches and a lot healthier that the burger places
