Best F&C in town. Just came from London only to have this delicious fish. Very clean, always fresh fried, therefore you sometimes have to wait 10 mins.

A fine workaday portion of chips, served in a paper cone. Fish in a polystyrene flappy box was OK, but not great; a bit frangible and not in big juicy flakes as cod ought to be.
Seating is restricted to a three or four person perch, this is a proper take-​away, not a restaurant.
Doing a roaring trade during the Faversham Hop Festival, and I can see why. The Gaslight must have been there for at least 15 years now, and long may it continue. Recommended.

Spotless premises. The fish is always fresh and succulent, staff are friendly. Excellent all round chippy!
