Very friendly waitresses in the dining area at the back, enjoyed a good inexpensive dinner. We went early at about 6pm on Friday night, so not very busy nor noisy, which I have heard it gets later on.
I had Chicken Souvlaki which was quite delicious. My friend had the Chicken, bacon and avocado salad which was enormous and maybe not particularly remarkable other than its lack of avocado. It turned out they were out of avocado, and of course they should have mentioned it on ordering, but they did reduce the price.
The cocktails were 2 for 1. We had margaritas which were rather small, but perfectly serviceable. The lemon crumble tart for desert was very good.
I would definitely go back again.

I need to pass this one on. A group of my associates dined here on Monday last.
They got everything a half price, not sure about drinks, as were most teetotal, however were very complimentary about the food and the good service they received and even more so about the bill!

Slug and Lettuce, formerly known as Casa, is a modern bar which opened it’s doors in 2000 and offers something for everyone.
There is a comfy seating area where you can enjoy a drink and a chat with friends and also a separate bar and dining area.
Food can be eaten throughout the pub, chosen from a main menu and during the day time many office based workers and shoppers enjoy their lunch break here.
At night time they turn into more of a circuit bar with a mixed and vibrant crowd. They are part of the local pub watch scheme and have door staff at weekends to ensure they are a trouble free environment at any time of the day.
