Trying to replace a sink plug should not be this complicated? Well, I had bath sink that contained a Click Tack plunger. The orifice looked to be a simple 1.½in. area. Yet a 1.½ plug was to small! I phoned some of the other Industrial Local Plumb Centres for advice. The 1st the phone was unavailable and although the H. Q did offer me an alternate branch it was to far for such a small item. The second could not help as I had no part number, another had a web site but could not even find the number of the picture displayed on their own page?! Robert Dyas to the rescue, they knew from my vague description my requirement, and produced Universal Plug, that would solve the problem of water running away freely from the sink.

When my kettle went I thought I might get one somewhere. Had a leaflet from Dyas so paid them a visit. They had the exact one on the flyer, and they had and one cheaper. I got the one cheaper, teas up!
