Changes at Glanmire and it would seem that they’re all for the better the new head girl seems to really love the horses and have their best interests at heart and is passing this onto the rest of the staff, things are looking up! Some teething problems as to be expected esp in this cold weather ie. auto stable drinkers frozen overnight, all fixed now with the horses having bucketed water as well as the drinkers! I feel like i can bring up any concerns and they will be listened to and be addressed. Also soon to have BHSAI instructor/​manager on the yard — so convenient and great for all the wimbeldon PC girls. The hacking out on Epsom and Ashte

A lovely yard in a fantastic location for hacking as it backs directly onto Epsom Common, so no roadwork! It is a small, friendly yard which is very professionally run by an extremely capable yard manager. She competes her own horse very successfully in dressage and is available for lessons and schooling, so is sure to rub off some of her knowledge and experience. There is a large outdoor school as well as show jumps on the grass in the summer. This is an ideal yard for competitors as well as happy hackers.
