I really wanted to check out the small RSA museum that was set up and run by a retiree volunteer program. However despite phoning, emailing and turning up when the website says they are open I could not get a response. None of the museums neighbors knew who to contact, only check with the management office… which had moved… twice and is only open a few hours a week.
There were nice little pieces of history laid out like a treasure hunt around the now new industrial park. mostly were historic markers of what the buildings used to be which made my journey not a complete waste.
I own a first year production SMLE iii and would have really enjoyed talking to someone or been able to view the museum.
