Visited this place many times as it, s my daughters favourite place to eat. So when we stay over in other parts of the country she checks to see if there’s one close by. Out of all we have been to, Ellesmere Port’s has been the best. The food is always good and the staff are very friendly, even when busy.

Called in for a cappuccino(£2.10), hot and nice topping with chocolate flakes. Comfortable seats, nice background music, cozy and warm, friendly fast service. Located on the way into Cheshire Oaks on Coliseum Way. Home made soup of the day(£3.75) was nice and thick(mushroom), served with dough balls. All round good experience.

I used to hate this restaurant chain due to a bad experience at this location quite a few years ago. However in the past 6 months I have tried a couple of different locations and thought this one needed a second chance. Well I am glad I did. It was a big improvement on the last visit here. The only thing is I ordered the dough balls with garlic dip. When I ordered this at the Southport location the dip was like butter, here it was just oil. It had obviously been left for too long under the warmer while waiting for my friend’s starters and had melted. My pizza was fine if not slightly burnt round the edges but the type of base it is it didn’t bother me. As the base is very thin and crispy. Everyone else’s food was great. A couple of sharing platters were eaten by all. Along with steaks and other meal’s. Dessert was delicious. Service was great, no problems. Definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting cheshire oaks.

Took the kids here for my son’s birthday and it was fab. Went to the cinema first and had dinner here afterwards. We sat in booth style seats. They offer two types of menu for the kids a normal kids and a junior menu for the bigger appetites. The kids loved the food and mine was great too. Service was quick and efficient and the atmosphere was buzzing. We will definatley be going back.

It’s ok, wouldn’t go any further than that really. They serve average food quickly. I have only been once and would not be overly keen to go again as Prezzo(about 10 seconds further away from the cinema) is much better at Italian.

This American Italian style restaurant is located near to the Cheshire Oaks Vue cinema making a great place for a pre or post cinema meal or drink(there is a bar that you can go into just for a beer or glass of wine). I have been here quite a few times and find that it’s a bit hit and miss. The service is always good and they are into celebrations big time as they always play loud blaring Happy Birthday music and embarrass somebody with sparklers in their dessert when there is a birthday in the house! Good vegetarian options I particularly like the veggie burger. They sell CDs of the crooner music they play in there.

I am really disappointed with this restaurant. The menu looks so good, so much choice, reasonably price, loads to choose from. so why am I so disappointed? Because my experiences of the place so far include orders being incorrect and even cold food! The worst of all though was the attitude of one staff member one evening because we chose to move tables after being sat next to a screaming child. We hadn’t ordered yet but the waitress was so snotty and rude about it that we immediately walked out and have never been back since. Shame, but the experiences so far aren’t encouraging enough to ever go back there.

I love the Frankie and Benny chain and there are 3 in the area however this one is by far the best. I think this is mainly due to the staff in this one as the lay out is similar in all and the menu is identical. The staff are very friendly and are there to serve nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling. The food is amazing especially the pizza’s so much choice on the menu I have to admit I have never managed a desert there as everything is so filling. They have a great cocktail menu also jugs of long island iced tea amongst others to choose from. Prices are also reasonable. The music they pipe in adds to the atmosphere, along with the language tapes pipes into the toilet which teaches italian as you are in there. unusual
