I stumbled upon this place on my lunch break, desperate for a cup of hot soup to warm me up on a rainy autumn’s day. The Wee Coffee Bar is situated on Morrison Street, fairly close to the EICC.
I opted for a potato, leek and chicken soup as a take away (£2.20) — but they do a have an area to sit in as well. I quite liked the look of this place — it has an airy feel to it and the staff were friendly. They had a nice looking selection of sandwiches as well and the option of toasted wraps (£3.50) so I would definitely return next time to try something else!

Tasty, good value sandwich selection. Great coffee. And I’ve just this morning discovered they make a mean bacon roll too, and I’m so fussy about bacon rolls I rarely buy them. Very friendly staff.

Ideal place for a light, friendly, quick and high quality lunch if you are in the area or at the conference centre across the road. Try the soup!!!

Great place for lunch with a £4 meal deal that you can sit in and enjoy. They have a decent and healthy selection of per-​made sandwiches and rolls to choose from and even something to please this fussy vegetarian!
Helpful staff and nice clean bright and airy seating area.
They even transfer your lunch to a plate if eating in and a glass for your drink, it is those extra little things that are great about this place.
