Given that the whisky selection here (in what used to be Cuba Norte) doesn’t look to have significantly increased the name change seems odd, even if it is trying to ape the London club of the same name for whatever reason.
The Hogmanay tasting menu looks nice though and at £30 per head is probably good value for money. Otherwise £3.95 for a pint of Sagres struck me as daylight robbery.
The day to day menu certainly covers all the traditional bases of Scottish cuisine and is probably worth a re-​visit to sample it. The cocktail menu is likewise appealing in both variety and price.
