Sainsbury’s always have a great and varied selection of Beers, Wines, Spirits (not to mention Ciders!).
I hadn’t tried their «Blanc de Blanc» Champagne for a few years and so popped in to buy a bottle and reacquaint myself with this not too common type of Champagne.
Blanc de Blanc (meaning White from White — grape) is (for the sake of argument here) made from 100% Chardonnay grapes.
I also saw Sainsbury’s own, «Etienne Dumont Brut» down to only £14.00 a bottle, so jumped at the chance as according to online sources this Champagne sells more than the likes of Moët et Chandon & Veuve Cliquot.
I’ll update this review when both products have been, er, evaluated ;)
