Kelly’s Bakery

Now I try to be a good little thrifter and make myself up a packed lunch every day so I’m not blowing money on pre-​packed sandwiches. But we all have *those* days, don’t we (and they’re usually Thursdays). The type of day where you fall out of bed late, there’s nothing in, and you dash out of the door unfed and unprepared.
Kelly’s bakery is my saviour for these kind of days. Not only do I pass it on my way to work — so no further delays — but I can also get a breakfast butty, a filled roll for my lunch, a sweet treat (for the extra Thursday-​ish Thursdays) and still have change from a fiver!
My personal favourite is the chicken mayo salad roll — filled to the brim, there’s greenery in there so it’s obviously healthy, freshly made and only £1.40. So if you’re dashing past here, do take a minute to swing in and get yourself something to eat — I promise you that Thursdays* are easier to handle with a happy belly.

Steak pies are to die for, and all completely home made on the premises.
Millionaires shortcake excelent.
Fresh Bread, Rolls and Cakes ect.
Certainly beats the chain bakers hands down.
