Kathy’s Knits is a charming local yarn shop. The proprietor is a welcoming and knowledgable lady who was keen to chat about yarns and patterns and whatnot. Very helpful! She seems to specialize in Scottish wools and yarns and though the small shop doesn’t offer a huge selection, it offers a really nice selection. Kathy let it be known that she’s happy to order anything a person might be after. Definitely a new addition to my list of must-​stop-​in places when I’m in Edinburgh.
