used to be a great pub and restaurant but now they allow children in. Had totally spoiled it as you negotiate the high chair obstacle course and the screaming brats!

Was here with my boyfriend for tea recently, we both enjoyed our meal but I have to agree with most of the reviews on here! The service was slow and the staff were pretty unpleasant! It’s a real same as this place used to be great!

Be prepared to wait! Service is slow, drink or food, the way of serving has no thought behind it. Beer is invariably flat and food cold. Management couldn’t care less and one has to feel sympathy for most of the staff who are really friendly, helpful but farting against the thunder of management direction. And no, I don’t work there!

Great local pub which has a great selection of both food and drinks. Often have beer festivals and food specials. Staff are welcoming and friendly although it can be slow at bar sometimes. Great atmosphere and welcoming.
