In the last few months, little café’s and lunch spots have been popping up around Bruntsfield and I am loving it. Gone now are the days where I need to decide between Subway and Sainsbury’s. EH10 Café is the newest addition, opening up right next door to Gulliver’s toy shop and is laid out with a lovely clean, fresh décor. Everything seems to be white and minimalist and I love it. The lightbulbs hang from the ceiling from really long light cables and the only decoration I’ve noticed is a bunch of juice bottles and cans hanging from each other. Minimalist/quirky? I don’t know how it works but it does. The coffee is good and on 2 occasions I have had their burgers which are also delicious. A filled morning roll is £1.80 for a single and £2.20 for a double. Very reasonably priced and around half the price of Project Coffee across the road. Granted there aren’t as many seats nor is it as big but if all you are after is a coffee and a roll on the way to work then you can’t complain. Give it a try!
