Budding Chefs: The Pop-up Restaurant

Wowzers. And that’s not a term I use lightly.
The budding chefs pop up restaurant was fantastic. I went along last year with a group of friends and we had a lovely evening. See the pictures for the food and the menu on the night.
Budding Chefs is a fantastic venture. Basically, a group of young French chefs come to Scotland to learn how to make Scottish dishes, then a group young Scottish chefs head to France to learn about French food! When I say young, I mean ¹⁷⁄₁₈ years old, so these chefs are really learning and yet manage to turn out an amazing meal!
The meal is cooked by the young chefs, under the watchful eyes of some more experienced, well-​known, local chefs. The food is Scottish/​French fusion.
It’s a set menu, but last year there was such an amazing selection even if one thing didn’t take your fancy (though, seriously, that’s not going to happen) there was plenty more to chose from.
Overall a wonderful night, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone and anyone (and their friends and family too!)
