Barish Mediterranean Cafe & Bistro

It was a quick pit stop into Barish after a major shopping trip so I was hungry. It turns out this place has only been open 4 weeks which is why I hadn’t recognised it as we walked past. We didn’t order much here (tea, hummus. Feta rolls) but I’ll be honest I thought the light bites that we did order were lovely. I was a little put off by the plastic table covers and flimsy plastic menus but don’t be. If the quality of the rest of their food matched the light bites we had then step on in! The hummus was tasty and served with lovely soft but crispy griddled pitta and what I can only describe as salsa on the side which was tasty tasty! As for the feta rolls I would definitely order these when I go back as they were plentiful, delicious and not greasy. They were also served with the same accompaniments as the hummus. Service was friendly and efficient which is what you want in a place in the centre of town. I liked it here and I will be giving it another whirl I’m sure at some point. Oh the cuisine is Mediterranean.
