Can’t say I am really a fan. I find some of the items appear a bit scruffy and cheap. Plus for some reason, I really am uncomfortable eating things when the packaging is in a different language — odd I know. There can be some good bargains to be found, especially with their weekly specials, but generally I’d say stick to one of the leading supermarkets.

Situated in central Eastleigh right next to the train station, this Lidl is brilliant to use and has a fair sized car park to match. This is a great size Lidl so you can get all you’re shopping in one go, plenty of space and plenty of stock. The checkout queues are pretty good and service id with a smile!

I love this store. Abit higgeldy pigeldy but great for a rummage. Onsite free parking and always lots of boxes about to eleviate the cost of shopping bags. Its located on the Mansfield Road in Carrington. Great value fruit and veg and lots of other bargains to be found, with weekly specials to be found it makes it worth a visit. For food at bargain prices i found that its best to buy whilst offers are on. Lidl always seems to have a few good offers on, not only on food but on gardening things and home items.

Lidl is one of the places I go, along with Aldi, before I hit the likes of Tesco or Sainsbury’s now, as there are many savings to be made on your weekly shop. I mainly go there to check out the fruit and veg. Sometimes it’s good quality, sometimes it’s not, so you have to be a bit choosy. Vine tomatoes are good and you can pick your own rather than get them in a pack. Alot of items are on a weekly offer so I look out for them. The best bargain I got recently was on Muller Light Yoghurts. In Lidl they were £1.45 for 6, in Tesco they were £2.95. I just couldn’t believe the difference in the price, so I’d go back there just for them! In summer they do a few plants and I got some lovely Clematis for £3.99 each. At garden centres they’re at least £6 and over. So well worth a regular look.

I love Lidl! Always good quality food at low prices. Their fruit and veg is excellent quality. I think you need to try a lot of unfamiliar brands to see if you like them. As it can be hard to change from familiar brands. The checkout staff are very efficient

Im not very impressed with Lidl, I sometimes find it a bit scruffy and more expensive than it leads you to believe. Great for German sausage though.

can be found on mansfield road on a major bus route out of the city, siutated about 5 mins from the city centre. Very big and cheap. But not many staff on the floor or tills, i guess this is how they save money. Fruit and veg although cheapnot always in good condition so check for mould. bargins on toliet roll and frozen foods.
