On the telly, in their advert, Subway portray their establishments as happy, cheerful places where the staff are keen and eager to serve you and never have a big smile missing from their face. Unfortunately, the people who buy the franchises haven’t seen the adverts and it obviously wasn’t part of the contract. I’ve been a customer in many a Subway and still haven’t been aable to get any of the staff to crack a smile. Maybe smiling is against the law in their homeland. I’m still, though, giving it four stars. This is simply because both my boy and I just love the baguettes. They don’t do what other big companies with shareholders do. The accountants at this company realise that proper portions and no signs of skimping, are better for their corporate image. When you order extra pepperoni they don’t give you less of the other ingredients. They put it in their micro grill thing and then give you a much salad and pickle as you want, topped by a good variety of sauces. Good place to go if you are going to the cinema and don’t want a fortune on their over-priced food.
