Just been to their resturant for breakfast after traveling up for Leeds. Service excellent and very friendly staff serving. What a plesent suprize that someone comes across that loves there job. Must go to place for a nice breakfast would highly recommend for anyone in Durham looking for a breakfast.

Seem to have a good selection of gift idea’s for Xmas, very busy but some good bargains to be had. Sants’s groto just outside the front door also.

A bright, clean pleasant store with a good range of stock. I have spent many a happy hour here buying presents or just browsing. The layout does change regularly like all shops of this type, but is always easy to follow due to the large, airy space it occupies. The café is never going to be accused of providing gourmet fare, but is pleasant and reasonable value for money. It has been improved since the smoking ban as the top area (with wonderful views of the river towards the racecourse) used to be reserved for smokers.
A good place to shop.

pretty standard BHS, with the same ranges in clothes as any other bhs. The crowning glory for durham’s store is the english breakfast! great value and loads of food. you won’t need lunch! great for a late breakfast on a saturday, after a big friday night or a sports fixture on a weekday morning!

Really nice items at a good price. They had a 20% off day today but I did not buy anything as I am saving up for a holiday, I was just looking unfortnately. Staff are always willing to help, asking if your okay.
I really like the clothes in BHS, the quality is always good and they have such lovely bags, which always have a reasonable price. They have other items for the home as well. brilliant shop.

i find bhs products to be a little tacky and cheap, but nevertheless have a excellent sweet section. i was able to find many lovely little presents for my little sister which she loved! quite resonable aswell.
